Faith, Hope & Love

Feb 8, 2026    Brian Rogers

In Faith, Hope & Love, Pastor Brian calls us back to the daily reality of living in Christ—where faith isn’t passive, love isn’t effortless, and hope isn’t wishful thinking. From 1 Thessalonians 1:2–6, we see three defining qualities of believers rooted in Jesus: the work of faith, the labor of love, and the patience (joyful endurance) of hope.

This message explores:

The Work of Faith: Faith that pleases God believes He is and that He is a rewarder (Hebrews 11:6)—fully present and personally engaged.

The Labor of Love: Love is expressed through surrender—laying down our lives for others in the way Jesus modeled (John 10:17–18; 1 John 3:16).

The Patience of Hope: Hope anchors the soul behind the veil—steady and sure in Jesus our High Priest (Hebrews 6:19–20; Romans 8:24–25).

If you’ve been tempted to grow weary, Scripture encourages us to keep going—because in due season we will reap if we do not lose heart (Galatians 6:9).
